Lola is a strategist, storyteller, and coach focused on social impact and narrative change at the intersections of race, culture, and public policy. As Chief of Strategy, Lola collaborates closely across the organization to strengthen Every Texan’s long-term strategic vision, integrate Every Texan’s solutions into public discourse and policy arenas, and design and implement strategies to drive policy and systems change. Lola joined the organization in 2021 as communications director, bringing 15 years of experience in developing high-impact systems, campaigns, teams, and content to achieve transformational outcomes. Lola holds an MA in Global Communications from The American University of Paris and a BFA in Digital Filmmaking and Television Production from The Art Institute. Born and raised in California, Lola has called Dallas her second home since 2007. A lover of the ocean, when she’s not working, you’ll likely find Lola looking for new places to use her scuba gear.
