Breanna Boyd, Health and Food Justice Organizer

Breanna Boyd began her work with Every Texan as a community engagement & advocacy intern and recently transitioned into a new role as Health and Food Justice Organizer. In this role, she supports Every Texan’s Health and Food Justice engagement and advocacy strategies by identifying, designing, and executing offline and digital tactics for engagement efforts, issue education work, and advocacy campaigns – including collaborative campaigns with coalition partners like Sick of It Texas. As a single mom raising a 5-year-old with Autism, Breanna’s lived experience drives her commitment to expanding opportunity and equity for all Texans. She is a current junior at Texas Southern University where she is pursuing a major in Administration of Justice and a minor in Public Affairs.
