His experience as a data and policy analyst in the Texas state government translates to unique insight into how we can more effectively advocate for a budget that invests in the future of every Texan. Shannon holds a master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT Austin. He and his wife Larissa have a ten-year-old daughter, Frances. Before she came along, he spent a lot of time playing in weird noisy pop bands — playing shows, touring, and making records.
