The Census is a constitutionally mandated count of the nation’s residents. The 2030 Census will impact Texans’ Congressional representation, federal funding for health care, housing, education, and transportation, and private-sector investments in our economy and infrastructure. Every Texan recommends the LBB allocate a $30-40- million allocation in the base budget for 2028-2030 biennium to ensure an accurate census count across the state.
