Shayna Dunitz (she/her) joined Every Texan as Interim Director of Operations in September, 2026. She is in her final year of the Master of Public Affairs program at UT Austin’s LBJ School, where her research focuses on social policy and program evaluation, specifically homelessness and the systems that interact with it. With over a decade of professional experience in Austin’s social impact ecosystem, including launching Housing Connector’s Austin market and leading a capacity-building initiative for homelessness service providers, Shayna brings both practitioner expertise and research skills to Every Texan. When she’s not digging into data, Shayna can be found running around Town Lake, browsing BookPeople with her husband, or snuggling on the couch with her dogs.
