Texas For All Education Fund Launches State of the People Video Series

Texas For All Education Fund Launches State of the People Video Series.

The State of State Address Does Not Tell The Real Story of Texas

Today, Texas For All Education Fund, the 501(c)(3) branch of Texas For All, announced the launch of the State of the People video series, a bold new project highlighting the realities of everyday Texans to fill the gaps left by the Governor’s State of the State address.

Texas For All Education Fund Project Director Daniela Padilla issued the following statement:

Texas For All is proud to announce the State of The People Project, a powerful new video series rolling out over the next two weeks, in collaboration with our signing partners. These stories highlight everyday Texans and the realities they face living and working in Texas.

No matter where we come from or what we look like, Texans want the same things—healthy families, safe communities, the freedom to earn a good living, and a voice in the decisions that shape our lives. Our state leaders are telling one story about Texas,  while everyday Texans are living another. The disconnect is impossible to ignore.

This series puts working Texans at the center, holding state leadership accountable and demanding a future that reflects the needs and aspirations of all Texans, not just those in power. True progress can only be achieved when we all work together and the voices of every Texan, rich or poor, young or old, from big cities to rural towns, have a say in conversations about our state’s future.

Join the movement and watch the video series at https://tx4all.org/state-of-the-people/.
