Data-Based Policy Questions to Ask Candidates Before the Midterms

With midterm elections coming up on November 6th (and early voting beginning on October 22nd), Texans want to know where their candidates and elected officials stand on key policy issues that affect their communities and children.
CPPP is proud to release four more sets of data guides and candidate questions aimed at helping Texans create dialogue with candidates and elected officials about some of the most pressing challenges facing Texas families.
Read our data reports and suggested questions below:

Together, we can make sure that the issues that affect Texas kids get the attention of our elected leaders. Please share these guides widely with friends, partners, and organizers of community forums and town hall meetings. Make sure to use the hashtag #TXVotes4Kids on social media!
In case you missed it, be sure to check out our previous release of data guides and candidate questions:

The deadline to register to vote is Tuesday, October 9th. For more information and to check your registration status, learn more here.
