CPPP Director of Economic Opportunity Garrett Groves presented to the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas quarterly funders’ forum. Garrett provided a community profile of the Dallas-Fort Worth region on changing demographic and economic trends. The presentation focused in particular on building regional talent pipelines to help address the shrinking middle class in Texas.
The event was held in support of the United Way’s Pathways to Work initiative, which is a partnership between employers, funders and training providers to equip individuals with post-secondary skill training and credentials that lead to better paying jobs.
