SNAP (formerly known as "food stamps") provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of families in poverty so they can buy healthy food and move toward self-sufficiency.

Child & Adult Care Food Program

CACFP's mission is to contribute to the health and wellness of vulnerable populations, including children in low-income neighborhoods, people with disabilities, and elderly Texans. By helping care centers stretch their dollars, CACFP helps make the cost of care more affordable for working families.

Women, Infants, & Children

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is designed to improve the health of nutritionally at-risk pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children under age five by providing healthy foods, nutrition education, and access to basic health services.
